I might run out of pictures here tonight.

Contest #9

Alright folks these obviously need to be harder. For an answer to this photo to be considered correct I will require: what the photo is, where it is and some additional info about it (that it is a bell does not count, Bill)

Contest #8

You asked, I answered. The contests are back!

What is the subject of these two photos?

Washington DC

This is a post I have been meaning to do for quite a while now. And with no updates lately now seemed like a good time for it. I am going to skip the day by day account of the trip and focus on the pictures.

In August of 2004 my Mom and I took a trip to Washington DC for 8 days. It was a trip that we had talked about doing as a High School graduation gift, but we were not able to get it scheduled then. Before leaving we had not really made plans for our time there but had an idea of the sites that we wanted to see. It was a great trip and I would love to be able to go back and see some sites we missed the first time.

The Polls Are Now Open

Blogger has added a poll feature to the blogs now. I thought I would be the first amongst the several us here at work to have a poll. Since I get a complaint every once in a while about my updating frequency I thought that would make a perfect poll question. You can voice your opinion in the poll on the right side of the page. Let me know what you think!

UPDATE 08/15/07 The polls have closed! I am a little disappointed I mean only 6 votes come on! I think the polling experiment will remain just an experiment.

Happy 4th of July!

I am working all of the days around the 4th this year so I am not going to have a chance to get out to see any fireworks. Last year I was off for 4 days around the 4th and went to fireworks on all those nights. Here are some photos from last year.
