Day 15 - Sarasota Boat Ride

While in Florida I was lucky enough to be able to get a ride on my Aunt Vicki and Uncle Roger's boat. This was the first time that I have been able to go out with them in Florida. We left from the dock behind their condo on the Intercoastal and headed South towards Venice.

One of the many larger very nice boats we would pass

Mangroves covered in birds

A dolphin followed us along for awhile

At Venice we went through a pass (if it has a name I can not find it) and entered the Gulf of Mexico.

Roger and Vicki's condo is in the left of the two identical buildings, our trip started on the other side of them

After traveling North along Siesta Key we returned to the Intercoastal at Sarasota Bay.

It was great to finally get a chance to get out with Roger and Vicki. I hope to be able to do it again sometime.
